How long until we receive our images?

All images are typically delivered in 2–5 weeks, fully edited with bespoke touches. The exact timeline depends on the season and my current queue of photography projects, with all weddings prioritised by date unless the two week or under express-delivery service has been purchased.

What are Art Files?

Art files are simply images that have been enhanced further from a standard natural edit. Typically what you see on my website and Instagram are Art Files. Some look more enhanced than others. As I’m editing all your 1500+ wedding images with a natural look, every time I see an image I like I will flag it. Once finished that natural edit I will go back to all the ones I have flagged and enhance them further. That is where the different style/looks happen. Looks such as Earth Tones, Cinematic & crafted. In your gallery Art Files will be under the title Photographers Choice. An example shown at this link here. You can let me know your preference prior to your wedding & I will lean in to these styles more. Otherwise I will do what I think works best for each image. Please note, Crafted style is an extremely time consuming procedure. Up to one hour of editing for each image, I would only include a very small number of this style if any in your gallery and it is image specific. Not every image would suit a crafted style treatment.

Do you offer sneak peeks?

Yes! Unlike many photographers, I don’t build them into the cost. Meaning they make you pay for them regardless if you would like them or not. I offer my couples choice and only pay for services they want .Sneak peeks are an optional add-on at $250. You’ll receive up to 30 beautifully edited images, delivered within 2–5 days after your wedding. To keep things smooth, sneak peeks need to be ordered and paid for before your wedding day. From the outside, it might look like a quick and easy job, just grab a few photos and send them over, right? But here’s the real story behind it. Every single image I deliver has to meet my professional standard. That’s non-negotiable. That means I spend 1–2 focused hours carefully selecting the best shots from 2,000–6,000+ raw images, then editing them with the same care and attention I give the full gallery. It’s creative, detailed work that happens right after your big day. Just like every other part of my service, my time and expertise are valuable and that’s why I charge for sneak peeks. When you invest in sneak peeks, you’re getting a proper, polished preview you can proudly share with family and friends while you wait for the full gallery. I truly love delivering these little moments of joy, and I want to make sure I can give them the quality and attention they (and you) deserve. If you’d like to add sneak peeks to your package, just let me know, I’d be happy to include them!

Do you have payment plans?

Yes!! Even though there is a $1000 retainer payment to secure the date. Payments can be made either in full or in instalments of $250 every month. Once the full $1000 payment is made your day will be secured.

Who do you recommend for our videography?

As I specialise in photography I have worked alongside many brilliant videographers. None better than Pat and Rose from Be Mine Films . Lovely couple and excellent videographers. We have teamed up to bring you the synergy package. You get the best of both worlds. Photo and video specialists combining. We figured the chances of me being able to secure one of the best videographers in the business and have them work solely under the Ben Newnam photography brand (and visa versa) would be near impossible. Hence why we collaborated.

Can we customise the inclusions to suit our needs?

Absolutely! For example. If you prefer only a natural edit to your images without the higher enhance Art Files, as shown on my website, the cost is reduced by $200.

Do you offer mid-week or seasonal packages?

Yes! Save $100 on all Monday-Thursday wedding coverages of four hours or save $200 for five hours or more. Plus $100 on June & July weddings.

How and what do we need to do to book you?

The most important thing is to let me know and I can hold the date for you. That way you have first option to secure the date with the payment should anyone else enquire for the same date. A retainer of $1000 is required to secure the date which can be made in instalments. The balance is to be due 2 weeks prior to your wedding.

Can we receive our images in less than 5 weeks?

You sure can! I offer an expedited service where you can receive your images in two weeks or less for a cost of $500. The high quality remains the same regardless if you choose two weeks or five.

Are there any travel fees?

Yes and no. Travel fees apply only if exceeding two hours from my Berowra office to my first location. Then it’s $50 for every 15 minutes past initial two hours, covering fuel, time & return trip. To give you an idea, two hours easily covers to Southern Highlands, Wollongong, Blue Mountains, Newcastle & Hunter Valley with no extra cost.

What’s your cancellation policy?

If you cancel your wedding booking for any reason, the retainer fee is non-refundable if I have received and declined one or more booking inquiries for another wedding on the same date due to your confirmed booking.

If I secure a replacement wedding for your cancelled date, confirmed by a paid retainer from another client, I will refund your full retainer fee within 14 business days of receiving their payment.

Cancellations must be sent in writing (email to ben@bnphotography.com.au or text to 0419 624 959). This policy applies to all cancellations made at any time before your wedding date.
