The wedding photography of Cecilia & Sam. Doesn’t get more Sydney than this. Held right in the heart of the city in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.
Even though it was a wet day, it didn’t dampen the spirits of Cecilia & Sam as they declared their vows to each other in the Rose Garden. It would be one of th most popular location in the Garden due to it’s beautiful back drop and spectacular rose gardens.
The other great thing about the rose gardens is that the layout of the garden really lends itself perfectly to holding a wedding there. Due to its long and narrow manicured gardens. The grassed areas are long and narrow and act as a natural isle.
Then there is the stone shelter that guests can wait if it’s too hot or too wet. As it so happened to be this day. The shelter is also great to set up a drinks and nibbles station where guests can enjoy refreshments before and after the ceremony.
After the ceremony and a few family shots we quickly made out way throughout the gardens before it got too dark. Being a grey day in in the winter time the light fades really quick. So we hard to work fast.
We would have managed to squeeze in half an hour of location shots before we made out way back to Darling Harbour for the reception.
Cecilia & Sam are keen dragon boat racers. So you will probably see them every year in darling harbour when the annual dragon boat races are held
