The wedding photography of Candice & Tim. Their wedding was held on the Eucalypt lawn in the Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens. It doesn’t get much more Sydney than this. Perfect weather, intimate guest list and an easy going couple. Could ask for more as a photographer.
The reception was held on the grounds of the gardens in the Botanic Gardens Restaurant.
With no bridal party, the three of us headed off for a 45 minute location shoot
Candice Fox, an up and coming award winning author of crime novels, one to watch in other words. Having written acclaimed novels such as Hade, Eden and Fall married her partner Tim Keen a freelance journalist having been editor for Top Gear. You could say a perfect literary match. They will probably read this blog, look at each other, roll their eyes and wonder if I should go back to writing school. But hey, I guess that’s why I’m a photographer
I really haven’t seen a couple so besotted with each other. Tim isn’t afraid to show his affection for not only Candice but also his family and friends. I have never seen a man just go up to his parents and give them a big cuddle and kiss on the top of the head, just for the hell of it. Just out of the blue throughout the course of their wedding celebration.
I loved Candice’s dress. I wish more brides would wear something like she did. It was an absolute stunner. Would not look out of place on Hollywood red carpet and hey, the dress could be worn more than just once.
If I had to sum up Candice and Tim’s wedding I would say it was all class without the stuffiness. There was just a relaxed vibe through the whole day which carried the feeling into the evening. What better way to put a statement on the evening by Candice changing into a retro looking party dress.
